Blue Indicolite Tourmaline Sterling Silver Diamond Ring

$150.00

This flashy little ring help a wonderful little surprise. Then I received this ring, I thought for sure it had a little blue sapphire in it but when i started running tests on it, I realized it was a gorgeous blue tourmaline. Not only that, It has 6 flashy diamonds split on either side of the stone. This is the perfect little ring for someone looking for an unusual stone.

Tourmaline is a complex silicate mineral composed of boron, aluminum, and a variety of other elements, giving it a diverse range of colors, from pink and red to green, blue, and even black. Its unique crystal structure, with multiple layers of composition, is responsible for its striking color variety and pleochroism—the ability to show different colors when viewed from different angles. Historically, tourmaline has been prized for centuries, particularly by ancient civilizations, including the Egyptians, who believed it was a powerful protective stone. In jewelry, tourmaline is cherished for its beauty and versatility, often set in rings, necklaces, and earrings. It is durable, ranking 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale, though it requires care to avoid scratching or damage from sharp impacts. To keep tourmaline jewelry in good condition, clean it regularly with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, avoiding harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners, which can weaken the stone's structure. Storing it separately from other gemstones can prevent scratching.

Jewelry and gemstones do not always look like what’s on your screen. Different screen resolutions and pixelization may skew the colors of certain stones and metals. This is especially true for stones like opals, fire agate, and labradorite. Although we make the best attempt to show off the product exactly as it is in person, technology doesn’t always allow this. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out and we will do our best to help.
